Ron Paul and Internet Gambling

Online gambling is far from the only issue this country should be concerned about, but for many it it a very hot topic. Dr Ron Paul is the only Presidential candidate to show support for online gaming - regardless of his own personal beliefs regarding gambling.

Ron Pauls position on internet gambling and H.R. 4411 :

In conclusion, H.R. 4411 violates the constitutional limits on Federal power. Furthermore, laws such as H.R. 4411 are ineffective in eliminating the demand for vices such as Internet gambling; instead, they ensure that these enterprises will be controlled by organized crime. Therefore I urge my colleagues to reject H.R. 4411, the Internet Gambling Prohibition and Enforcement Act. — Ron Paul July 12, 2006 (Source: www.politechbot.com)

“I am endorsing Ron Paul for the Republican nomination.  Dr. Paul’s positions are rooted in a deep respect for the Constitution and his consistent voting record is a testiment to his integrity.  I have contributed financially to his campaign and plan to continue with that support.  The constant personal attacks on Dr. Paul by big media elites shows the fear of debating Dr. Paul on his ideas and positions.  They disrespect him to diminsh his credibility.  He is constantly cut off and shouted down, not allowed to articulate his points of view.

“I am a lifelong conservative and have not missed a vote since 1988.  I am not in the catagory that big media would describe as a typical Paul supporter.  The only candidate willing to protect this nation’s soveriegnty — Ron Paul — is my candidate for the Republican nomination for president.”
